Simple
Logic Gates Combination Lock

The 74AHC86; 74AHC02 are
high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices and are pin compatible with
Low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). They are specified in compliance
with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74AHC86; 74AHC02 provides a 2-input
exclusive-OR and NOR function respectively.

Bidirectional

The PCA9306 allows bidirectional
voltage translations between 1.2 V and 5V, without the use of a
direction pin. The low ON-state resistance (ron) of the switch
allows connections to be made.

This simple circuit is a logic
probe with the ability to indicate the presence high voltage, low
voltage, and even the presence of a pulse. This circuit will
indicate the presence of pulse for a signal with a duration of 200
milliseconds. The circuit uses the 74ABT00DB quad 2-input NAND gate
as the main logic components.

This circuit is built to repel
mosquito using high frequency sound. The design is comprised of
LM555 timer which provides the pulse generation and precision
timing. It is also a stable controller capable of monostable or
astable operation. The 74HCT4017BQ device is a Johnson decade
counter with 10 decoded outputs. It provides the signal to be fed
into the 555 timer which is connected to the output piezo speaker.

String Tuner

This project is a guitar
tuner using lights that produce different frequencies similar to
the guitar string’s pitches. This project is more accurate compared
to other tuners that require sound analysis, which has the
disadvantage of being imprecise because of its noise sensitivity.

Water
Level Pump Control
|
|
|
|
|
This circuit will power up a water
pump when the water reaches a predetermined level. Then it
turns itself off when the water recedes to another predetermined
point. The three gates of U1 each have their two inputs tied
together, and serve as probes. The probes are then placed at
various levels to trigger a particular function at a predetermined
time.

4-digit
LCD Clock
|
|
|
|
|
This project uses an IC PCF1175CT,
specialized for clock applications. PCF1175CT is a single chip,
4.19MHz CMOS clock circuit providing hour and minute functions with
12-hour or 24-hour mode. It is designed to drive a 4-digit
multiplexed data (duplex) to the LCD (liquid crystal display),
having 13 output pins to be used for 26 output signals.
