Edge AI in Action with Altera, Terasic, and ONE WARE: Demo Livestream Replay

Edge AI is moving from concept to reality—and FPGAs are helping make it practical. In a recent Crowd Supply Teardown Sessions livestream, Altera, Terasic, and ONE WARE demonstrated real-time Edge AI generated by ONE WARE’s One AI Platform, running on Terasic’s Atum A3 Nano, powered by Agilex™ 3 FPGA.

The live demo showcased handwritten digit recognition using an onboard camera, with AI inference performed directly on the FPGA. By processing data locally, the solution delivers low latency, reduced power consumption, and improved security—without relying on cloud connectivity.
