  InnoSwitch4-QR Enables Compact LED Driver Designs That Are >92% Efficient The InnoSwitch4-QR flyback switcher IC family significantly enhances the efficiency of flyback power converters up to 220 W, especially in applications requiring a compact form factor. A new design example report (DER-1038) showcases the benefits of InnoSwitch4-QR ICs in a slim, 100 W driver board for LED strip lights and linear luminaires used in industrial, commercial and residential highline applications (196 VAC to 308 VAC). Paring an InnoSwitch4-QR device with a HiperPFS-4 power factor correction (PFC) control IC, this no-heatsink design realizes higher than 92% end-to-end efficiency across line with just 62 components in a 16 mm, low-profile module.
