New Tiva™ C Series ARM® Cortex™-M4 MCUs for connected applications

Building on more than 20 years of experience developing leading MCU technology and ARM®-based processors, TI announces its new Tiva™ ARM® MCU platform. The first devices in the new platform - Tiva C Series TM4C123x ARM Cortex-M4 MCUs - are the first Cortex-M-based MCUs to be built on 65 nanometer flash process technology, setting the roadmap to higher speeds, larger memory and lower power.

Training

Getting started with the Tiva™ C Series TM4C123G LaunchPad Workshop

This workshop is based on the new Tiva C Series LaunchPad board featuring a TM4C123GH6PM microprocessor. The workshop is extensively hands-on and the overwhelming majority of your time will be spent working with the tools and writing code. $29: Workshop attendees will receive an EK-TM4C123GXL LaunchPad kit, additional USB cable and a Kentec 3.5" TFT LCD touch screen BoosterPack to take home.

Hercules™ One Day MCU Functional Safety Seminars in North America

The TI Hercules One Day Safety Seminar provides an overview of the applicable standards and directives for safety critical applications. In addition, attendees see how the ARM® Cortex™-R4 based family of safety microcontrollers can easily be used in the implementation of a safety critical system. This seminar will be offered at various locations in North America in the upcoming months. The next two seminars are scheduled in the Denver and Kansas City areas.

Enable Connectivity without Compromising Control: F28M35x MCU Hands-on Workshop

Providing the optimal solution for control and connectivity, the F28M35x MCU combines a C28 Control subsystem with a Cortex™ M3 Master subsystem and an Analog subsystem into a single device. The workshop steps the user through the programming development environment, system initialization, architectural overviews of the Master M3 and Control C28 subsystems, Analog subsystem, inter-processor communications (IPC), and safety features. The F28M35x MCU Hands-on Workshop is a self-paced technical course facilitated by qualified Texas Instruments' instructors. Download workshop materials and get started now.
