TV: LCD/Digital, Blu-ray player and home theater, set-top box (STB),
cable modem, router, surveillance monitoring and control
The TPS22915 offers an integrated low leakage load switch solution with up to 31% lower ON-Resistance (@ 3.3V), in a very small WCSP-4 package. It reduces power dissipation, and design time for space constrained devices requiring power management.
Resources: Datasheet, PSpice transient model, evaluation module
- Meets
demands for portable applications where voltages in the 1.05V to 5.5V
range are popular
- Minimum
dropout through the pass FET for tighter tolerance voltage rails
(lower IR drop)
- Applications:
Smartphones, notebook PC, tablet PC, wearable technology, solid state
drives, digital cameras
The TPS23861 is an easy-to-use, flexible, IEEE802.3at PSE solution. As shipped, it automatically manages four 802.3at ports without the need for any external control.
Resources: Datasheet, evaluation module
- Easy
to use - No I2C required
- Many
reference designs available to shorten design cycles with reduced risk
- Applications:
Ethernet switches and routers, surveillance NVR and DVRs, residential
gateways, PoE pass-through systems, wireless backhaul
The TPS92410 is an advanced linear driver with high voltage start-up intended for use in low power, offline LED lighting applications. It can be used to regulate the average LED current through LEDs in conjunction with the TPS92411 direct drive switch.
Resources: Datasheet, TPS92410EVM-001 evaluation module, TPS92410EVM-002 evaluation module
- Connects
directly to AC mains and standard wall dimmers

system integration, simplifies design, adds circuit protection and
dimming capability
- Applications:
5-70W LED lamps and luminaires, light bulb replacement, A19,
E12/26/27, GU10, PAR30/38, T8/10, recessed, pendent, track lighting,
architectural and display lighting, high-voltage linear current
control
The bq297xy battery cell protection device provides an accurate monitor and trigger threshold for overcurrent protection during high discharge/charge current operation or battery overcharge conditions.
Resources: Datasheet, evaluation module
- Low
current consumption results in very low discharge current
- Fault
protection threshold tolerances to allow packs to charge to higher
capacity for energy storage
- Applications:
Smartphone battery packs, handset radios, portable medical, portable
speakers
The TPS6128xA device provides a power supply solution for products powered by either by a Li-Ion, Nickel-Rich, Silicon Anode, Li-Ion or LiFePO4 battery. The voltage range is optimized for single-cell portable applications like in smart-phones or tablet PCs.
Resources: Datasheet, evaluation module, power stage designer of most commonly used switchmode power supplies
- Input
voltage range 2.3V to 4.8V enables single-cell systems to take full
advantage of Ni-rich cathodes and Si-anode chemistries
- Loads
can connected directly to the battery with almost no losses
- Applications:
Single-cell Ni-Rich, Si-anode, Li-Ion, LiFePO4 smartphones or tablet
PCs, 2.5G/3G/4G mini-module data cards, current limited applications
featuring high-peak power loads
