C2000™ Microcontrollers have been focused on easing motor control design for over 20 years. From the original C24x DSP engine to the latest C28x floating point DSP, C2000 MCUs provide a range of processing performance from 60MHz to dual core 200MHz CPUs along with analog and control peripherals necessary for premiere control systems. MathWorks provides software tools that enable modeling, simulation, and code generation of control systems using Simulink and Embedded Coder products. Embedded Coder provides additional support for the TI C2000 family of microcontrollers that includes automated build and execution, processor-optimized code including DMC and IQMath libraries, and the ability to perform processor-in-the-loop (PIL) tests with execution profiling. During this session we’ll walk through a demo of the Simulink tool running two 3-phase motors simultaneously using the new F28069M LaunchPad. Come learn how TI and MathWorks can help you quickly design your new motor control system.

Speakers:
Loretta Faluade, C2000 Product Marketing, Texas Instruments
Antonin Ancelle, Manager, Embedded Targets Development, MathWorks
Tom Erkkinen, Embedded Coder Product Manager, MathWorks
Moderator:
Curt Schwaderer, OpenSystems Media
